PREVENT OIL LEAKAGE BETWEEN SHIFT RAILS AND BELL HOUSING
THE MITCHELL REAL DEAL OIL SEAL ©
Model A transmissions have always been prone to leaking oil through the shift rail holes into the bell housing. These two holes are terribly oversized allowing an abundance of oil to escape into the clutch cavity and/or onto the ground. This problem is greatly increased each time the vehicle is subject to down grades, lowering the oil level of the transmission. This can and has many times been the cause of premature wear and failure of the main transmission due to oil loss.
Mitchell Manufacturing has developed a new system to completely seal off these two holes. We call it the “Real Deal Oil Transmission Seal.” It is very easy to install, and does a great job!
- Warranty is 2 years, with limited mileage.
